DOMESTIC RESEARCH REVIEW ON CHINESE WORLD HERITAGE (SITE) UNDER THE BACKGROUND OF TOURISM DEVELOPMENT

Abstract：In recent years, distractions between protection and development of Chinese world heritage (site) become more evident on the background of rapid tourism development, and heritage research lags behind heritage practice. This thesis summarizes research on Chinese world heritage (site) in the past 20 years, its research content includes heritage tourism, heritage value and landscape characteristic, heritage management and system, heritage protection and sustainable development, heritage marketing and image spreading, heritage law and education, heritage research method and protection technology. Research progress is divided into beginning stage, development stage and upgrading stage, characteristic of every stage is set forth.
It is believed that future heritage research focuses on protection and management system of Chinese world heritage (site). It includes:1) Foreign research review on world heritage which lays emphasis in research progress and result of national park, domestic research review on world heritage which lays emphasis in relevant research result of scenic spots and historical and cultural heritage, absorb of related stipulation on world heritage application and management. 2) Comparative research on value and attribute between Chinese world heritage sites. 3) Present condition and development trend of research on Chinese world heritage tourism. 4) Protection system of Chinese world heritage resource. 5) Operation and management system of Chinese world heritage site which consists of museum system, natural reserves system, scenic spots and historical and cultural city. 6) Interactive model between heritage tourism, heritage protection and heritage management. 7) Comparative research between typical case areas. Corresponding research framework are put forward.
