A REVIEW OF CHINESE REGIONAL CONVERGENCE OF INDUSTRIAL STRUCTURE RESEARCH

Abstract：Over the past 20 years,Chinese scholars and some foreign scholars have made thorough researches on China's regional economic development from the aspect of convergence of industrial structure.The existing researches are mainly focused on the following four issues.How to measure convergence on industrial structure is the first thing.The second is whether China or Chinese local region,for example,the Changjiang River delta,bears the convergence.The third is whether the convergence is reasonable.The fourth is the causes and policy implications of convergence.This paper presents a review of relevant researches based on empirical studies.This article makes a survey by measuring industrial structure convergence and classifying the relative documents,based on which,comments on the methods are also provided.
