Abstract:Taking Beijing-the gathering place of migrant workers and hotel-a place of convergence as a case, analyzing the collected sample data by virtue of questionnaire and structural equation model, this thesis explores the relationship and path of sense of place in this context, and the main innovation points are as fallows:Firstly, it constructs a path model that completely reflects the emergence and development of perception. Secondly, it emphatically explores the perceptional relationship and associated elements between micro workplace and macro city. Thirdly, it chooses hotel migrant workers as the research object, which can better reflect the importance of dependency complex. The three points above is different from past perceptional research. The data and the analysis results of structural model shows:① in the dimension of both hotel and Beijing, place attachment and identification are remarkably affected by place dependence, which plays an important role in the construction of perception as a functional perception; ② there is an association between the two dimension about the sense of place of hotel migrant workers. Moreover, because the relevant dimension is about the place attachment of the hotel and Beijing, the workplace highlights the functionality of perceptional complex; ③ the sense of place has expanded from micro environment to macro environment:Starting from hotel attachment to Beijing attachment and identification, based on pinpointing the inside and relevant perceptional relationship within macro and micro scale, this thesis constructs a completely full path by combining the two, thus interpreting the emergence and development of perception in a more explicit and specific perspective.
