长三角地区人口迁移和经济增长空间互动作用关系

摘要

人口迁移作为生产要素重新配置的重要形式,对区域经济的相互作用与协调发展具有深远影响。本文基于空间联立方程模型,结合第六与第七次全国人口普查、经济统计及地理空间数据,系统探讨了长三角地区人口迁移与经济增长之间的空间互动关系。研究发现:①人口迁入与经济增长在当地空间单元内部相互促进;当地与邻近地区间人口迁移、经济增长各自均呈现出正向空间溢出效应;而二者在当地与邻近地区间则存在一定程度的负向空间交互作用。②当地内部人口迁入与经济增长的相互促进作用最强,但呈现弱化趋势。当地与邻近地区间人口迁移的空间互动作用有所减弱;经济增长的空间互动作用、经济增长与人口迁移之间的空间交互作用则整体增强。③当地内部省内人口迁入与经济增长的相互促进作用显著强于省际人口迁入,但当地与邻近地区间省际人口迁入与经济增长的空间交互作用则相对更强。

Abstract

As an important process in the reallocation of productive factors, population migration has a profound impact on the spatial interaction and coordinated development of regional economies. Based on a spatial simultaneous equations model, this study systematically examines the spatial interaction between population migration and economic growth in the Yangtze River Delta region from multiple perspectives. The data are derived from China's sixth and seventh national population censuses, economic statistics, and geospatial datasets. The results show that population migration and economic growth mutually promote each other within local spatial units. Both population migration and economic growth show significant positive spatial spillover effects between local and neighboring regions, while a certain degree of negative spatial interaction exists between them across local and neighboring regions. The mutual promotion between population migration and economic growth within local regions remains the strongest, although it has weakened over time. The spatial interaction effect of population migration between local and neighboring regions has also declined. By contrast, the spatial spillover effect of economic growth and its spatial interaction with population migration have both strengthened. The mutual promotion between intra-provincial migration and economic growth is significantly stronger than that between inter-provincial migration and economic growth within local regions. At the interregional level, however, the spatial interaction between inter-provincial migration and economic growth is relatively stronger than that involving intra-provincial migration.
