摘要

加快农业转移人口市民化及社会融合是新型城镇化的首要任务，但长期城乡割裂导致农村流动人口存在身份认同障碍，且人口流动的空间非均衡性在其中的作用尚未充分探讨。本文聚焦县域流动人口规模分布对农村流动人口身份认同的影响，并从双重空间视角揭示其异质性。研究发现：①农村流动人口的身份认同具有负向规模效应，在流动人口比例高的县域，其身份认同感更低，“独在异乡为异客”的感知更为强烈。②这种负向规模效应通过歧视感知和接纳意愿这两种渠道实现。③人口流出地和流入地间的文化和经济差距加剧了这种负向规模效应。④在推进以县域为核心的城镇化过程中，需要增加社会融合政策供给，减轻社会排斥，变“异乡异客”为“吾乡吾亲”。

Abstract

Promoting the urban citizenship and social integration of rural migrants is a primary task of new urbanization. Although institutional barriers to rural migrants' entry into urban areas have been gradually lowered, identity barriers resulting from the long-standing urban–rural divide remain. However, little attention has been paid to how the spatial imbalance of population mobility affects rural migrants' identity. Against the background of county-centered urbanization, this paper examines the impact of the size distribution of county-level floating populations on rural migrants' identity and reveals its heterogeneity from the dual spatial perspectives of outflow and inflow areas. The results show that: 1) rural migrants' identity has a negative scale effect: in counties with a higher proportion of floating population, their sense of identity is weaker and their perception of being "strangers away from home" is stronger. 2) This negative scale effect operates through two channels: perceived discrimination and willingness to integrate locally. 3) Cultural and economic gaps between origin and destination areas further intensify the negative impact of population mobility on identity. 4) In promoting county-centered urbanization, attention should be paid to the paradox of "mobility freedom and integration conflict." It is necessary to increase the supply of social integration policies, reduce social exclusion, strengthen migrants' sense of identity, transform "strangers away from home" into "locals at home," and promote the shift from temporary mobility to rooted integration.
