Abstract：The study of space behaviour is the core of Geography of Behaviour.And space perception is the basis of space behaviour.During the reform and open period in China, the people's thinking and minds are changing rapidly.Therefore,people's space perception is changing too.Because of this,it is of special academic value to grasp the change regularity of space perception,in order to know how space perception affects space behaviour during the transition period from command economy to market economy.The aim of this paper is to find the essence of the people's space perception at Dongshan, then conclude the characters of village space perception of the Chinese grass-roots in these years.
