生态河口是河口区发展的一种理念和模式。本文在分析珠江河口区面临的严重挑战和遇到的难得发展机遇的基础上,提出了建设生态河口是珠江三角洲未来可持续发展的崭新模式。并在科学发展观的指导下,提出建设珠江生态河口的战略对策.以期为河口三角洲地区的可持续发展寻求一种崭新的可持续发展理念和模式。

Ecological river mouth is a very new mode on river mouth area development. To construct ecological river mouth is a very new model on sustainable development of the Pearl River Delta, which means to apply the ideas of ecological river, to use resource of water and lands intensively, to protect and exploit limited shoal lands with reason, to restrict pollution and boost up the capacity of accepting tide and ejecting pollution, to protect the diversity of environmental and ecological lands; to pay more attention on building up the fabric of ecological industry, to optimize the river hydrophilic environment and build up river natural protecting area that can tone up the capacity of disaster-against and to build up social community that can fit human beings to live. Based on analyzing serious challenges and great developing opportunities that belonged to Pearl River mouth area, the paper pointed out that building ecological river mouth will be a new model that will keep sustainable development of the Pearl River area. In order to look for a new model and thought of sustainable development of the Pearl River mouth area, the strategies and countermeasures on how to stick to Pearl River sustainable development were given:1)to pay more attention on building up ecological industry mode and economic fabric, which means to guide consumption reasonably, to develop circle economy and sea economy; and changing the model of economic increase:to build up low-investment, high-outcomes, low-consumption, low-pollution, circulate sustainable developing, economized society.2)to accelerate carrying on the strategy of regional integration that can exert each region advantage.3) to use resource of water and lands intensively.4)to build up scientific ecological region-dividing and construct area ecological environmental system.5)to build up modern comprehensive flood-against system that can get a balance between man and water.6) to carry out ecological precedence strategies.
