Abstract:The spatial pattern and organization mechanism of International Internet Information Flows (IIIF) in the IPv4 time is an important proposition of information geography. This paper reveals the spatial distribution pattern, organization mechanism and influencing factors of IIIFs, to make up the explanation insufficiency on the reason and present situation of Internet spatial distribution imbalanced in the domestic and foreign geography filed, aiming to help the worldwide scale scientific cognition about 'the digital gap' phenomenon. First the paper analyzes 16 target data of 87 main countries all over the world, such as gTLD, IPv4 address, netizen quantity, NRI, total population, urban population, total GDP, per capita GDP, patent quantity, FDI inflows, FDI outflows, merchandise imports, merchandise exports, international tourism arrivals, international tourism departures and students in abroad, and then categorizes them to 7 groups, such as the information flow, the Internet quality, the population and GDP, the technology flows, the capital flows, the material flows and the people flows. According to the Lorenz curve and the multiple regressions, the paper analyzes the characteristics of above factors and the relationships among them, and findings shows that centralization index of netizen distribution from 87countries reduced to 0.761 in 2007 from 0.824 in 2000. Although the imbalanced distribution situation is obtaining the alleviation gradually, 'the digital gap' question is still stern. The conclusion is that the international Internet spatial pattern is 'one center-two wings', which makes United States as center, European Union and Eastern Asia as two wings; IIIF organization was realized by ICANN, the country, the international metropolis and the Multinational corporation in 4 stratification planes; The formation and development of international Internet information flow space pattern is reflection of total GDP in various countries; The relationship among the information flows, people flows, material flow, the capital flows and the technology flows is affected and promoted mutually.
