旅游地生命周期是旅游地演变过程中的基本问题,已成为学者们关注的热点之一。本文首先回顾了国内外旅游地生命周期研究的主要内容。接着从研究时间、内容和对象三方面比较了国内外研究的异同。最后就旅游地生命周期研究的新趋势提出几点看法,分析认为,今后应着重在地域范围、周期影响因素、周期衡量指标、相关理论的结合应用等方面拓展和深化旅游地生命周期理论的研究。

Resort life cycle is a basic problem in the course of resort evolution, and has become one of hot points which scholars pay attention to. This thesis is divided into four parts. In first part, the author gives overall description on research about resort life cycle oversea, which involves the divide of phase, the characteristics of phase, the influential factors of cycle evolution and applying evaluation of theory. The second part analyzes domestic research progress of resort life cycle. In the third part, the author compares differences and similarities of domestic and oversea research. As far as research time is concern, foreign scholars have begun to give concern over resort life cycle since W. Christaller gave concept og resort life cycle for the first time in 1963, while domestic research started from early 1990's, later nearly 30 year than foreign research. From the perspective of research content, case study is emphasized by foreign scholars. Most foreign resorts has been in the latter half stage of life cycle, and re-position is at present foreign research focus; most domestic resorts has been in the former half stage of life cycle, and re-development is at present domestic research focus.
In the end, the author puts forward several viewpoints about new trend of resort life cycle study, these conclusions are suggested as follows:①Scope of research region. With the development of regional tourism, scope of research region should be not confined in scenic area, but should be extended to larger tourism region. ②Influential factor. The former research results have suggested that there exist many influential factors in resort life cycle, but systematic and emphatic analysis on influential factors should be strengthened, in particular, the size of affecting extent of important factors should be measured. ③Measure index. It may adversely affect sustainable development of some tourism areas to use the number of tourist as Measure index of life cycle, so there is a need to adopt different indexes corresponding to different tourism areas. ④Combined application of related theory. It is operationally weaker to uniquely apply resort life cycle theory to tourism area due to a number of influential factors of resort life cycle. Therefore, research of resort life cycle theory would be expanded and deepen if it is combined with other tourism theories, which is the new focus of further research.
