《人文地理》是我国唯一专门研究人文地理学的学术期刊,本文对该刊1986~2004年19年共81期的论文、论文第一作者和引文进行了统计分析,从中揭示了载文量的时空分布特点,展示了该刊作者群的基本特点,确定了该刊活跃作者群的数量和比例,归纳出人文地理科学工作者利用文献的基本特点和规律.同时也回顾了我国人文地理学的发展历程,掌握我国人文地理研究队伍的变化及发展状况,力求对人文地理学的进一步发展与研究队伍建设有所启示,并对《人文地理》期刊的发展提供有益的参考.

Based on the literature's metrological method,this paper has made a statistic and analysis on the thesis published on this journal during 1986 to 2004 from three aspects.
1) Journal aspect.The number of this serial has developed from semiyearly of 1986 to quarterly of 1989 and bimonthly 0f 2000.The number of articles have increased from the minimum 39 pieces to the maximum 139 pieces.It is extraordinary that the number of translation of Human Geography in 1986 and 1987 is much more than those written by the author from homeland.This reflected the focus of the research on Human Geography was to introduce theory from overseas into China directly.The translation mostly came from American.It is consistent with the fact that America is the research center about the Human Geography in modern times of the world.
The fields of the articles' topics of Human Geography were very broad.The articles about city,tour, economy,culture and district geography were included.These are just the preponderant branches.The articles supported by all kind of funds are only a half of those of ACTA GEOGRAPHICA SINICA.This indicates that the status of Human Geography needs further improved.
2) The first author of articles.The regional distributions of authors of Human Geography were broad. Beijing is the research center of human geography in China.Colleges and universities were the research center system.There were authors'resume such as age,sex,technical grades and dictation level started from No.3 of 1999.People whose ages were during 31 to 40,male,master or doctor were the main force.These show that China has trained large quantities of professional about Human Geography during the past 19 years.
3) The references.The proportion of the articles with references in Human Geography was rising year after year.But the unitary average number of references of the 19 years was still under our country's journals about science and technology.The main languages of references were Chinese and English.
