Abstract
With the growing of mobilities, contemporary society is characterised by the continuous movement of people, objects, capital and information. Tourism-induced migration becomes one way of mobilities. Among that lifestyle entrepreneurial migrants is the dominant. When they move to the destination, they are largely with the self-employment dimension of entrepreneurship, namely the engagement by individuals in self-directed economic activities, including operating small businesses. They are flows of people seeking lifestyle benefits in an attractive environment. Kinds of opportunities have encouraged increasing numbers of such people to move. A reasonably precise term for the type of individual investigated here might be ‘consumption-oriented’ or ‘lifestyle’ migrants who are self-employed. However, the fact is that their networks, interactions, relationships and perception to the place emerging within mobile societies have been overlooked. In response to these gaps in knowledge, this paper focuses on the growing aspect of lifestyle-induced migration behaviour and tries to study the integrated perception of such group, such as the link between lifestyle migration and their usual entrepreneurial activity. To achieve the goal, qualitative research methods are used, so 26 lifestyle entrepreneurial migrants were interviewed using semi-structured interviews in Suhe ancient town. Along with pre-research and secondary data analysis, the main factors they perceived are discussed. To ensure the material, key informat and kinds of responds were included. And coding analysis is a main analysis instrument. Main attributable factors are discussed and strategies are given to prompt their desire to live in Suhe.
