THE RESEARCH ON THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE REGIONAL SPACE OF FLOWS BASED ON MEASUREMENT OF THE EXPRESS LOGISTIC OF FLOWS: A CASE STUDY OF JIANGSU PROVINCE

Abstract:With the promote of information technology, the space of flows as the new space form in the new period brings time compression effects, at the same time it constantly strengthen the connection between regional cities and promotes the intercity circulation of the social economic resources. The space of flows reintegrate the regional spatial relations, strengthen the research of "connectivity" and "relationship". Through the analysis of measure the flowing space elements builds the regional flowing space characteristics analysis method will become one of the main research perspective of relationship between regional cities in the information age. With 13 cities in Jiangsu province as the study area and six logistics company websites data as data sources, using weight analysis and gravity model method to build three indexes:the level of express logistics about regional city, the connection degree between urban flowing space and overall evaluation about urban express logistics. Based on spatial visualization study we found that relationships between regional cities in Jiangsu province shows a hierarchical characteristics of multi-center network flat point axis, the integration of city circlearound Nanjing, Suzhou, Xuzhouhas become an important breakthrough for improving the flowing capability of regional flowing space.
