Abstract:ICT, Information and Communication Technologies, is a new concept of information technology and communication technology. Information technology mainly refers to a variety of technologies used in the processing and management of information, and communication technology is information dissemination and transmission technology. Since the 21st century, ICT has been developing rapidly, and has had a profound impact on the daily life of the residents, changing the daily behavior of residents living, working, shopping, transportation, recreation and leisure, leading to the reconstruction of the spatial characteristics of the residents' daily activities. Based on the analysis of information data and spatial data of female residents in urban villages, this paper explores the activity space under the influence of ICT. The data used in this study are from the survey of residents' lives in Beijing, which was conducted in February to March in 2017. The respondents are located in five city villages. The conclusions are as follows. Firstly, by summarizing the characteristics of the network activities of female residents in the village, it is found that women with demographic and socioeconomic characteristics of young, unmarried, higher educational level and better economic status, are the main group of people who conduct online activities. Secondly, with the help of Stata, econometric models are used to explore the activity space of female residents in urban villages under the influence of ICT. It is found that ICT is not a factor affecting the choice of living space but can reduce the spatial restraint of recreational activities. In addition, ICT provides more employment opportunities for female residents in urban villages, and plays an important role in practical work. The prosperity of online shopping depends on the popularity of ICT, and the complementary effect of online shopping on physical shopping is greater than that of substitution.
