Abstract：Based on the theoretical explanation of the relational perspective and its application in spatial researches, the article sorts out the related thinking of rural spatialcognation researches, and believes that rural spatial cognation needs to pay attention to the spatial relations to connect the complex connotation and operation mechanism of rural space, and form the applicable rural space transformation path. The relational perspective gives a dynamic interpretation of rural space. The article divides the rural space into four dimensions:Material space, economic space, social space and cultural space, and constructs the cognitive framework of rural space from three aspects:The internal relations in multi-dimensional subsystems, the relations between multi-dimensional subsystems, and the governance means to adjust the relations, aiming to respectively analyze the spatial composition, spatial process and spatial organization of the rural. On this basis, the article divides the path of rural space transformation into three stages. The first stage is linking and integrating resources, which is establish a synergistic relationship between rural material space and economic space to carry out rural development and construction. The second stage is coordinating participants, which is promote the supporting relationship between rural social space, economic space and material space, and transform the local social entities into an endogenous force for rural development. The third stage is establishing collective identity, which is strengthen the identity relationship between rural cultural space, social space, economic space, and material space to fully stimulate development momentum, and promote the comprehensive development level of the rural. The research hopes to expand the perspective of the construction of rural space theory and provide scientific guidance for rural planning practice.
