RESEARCH PROGRESS AND PROSPECT OF RURAL ATTRACTION

Abstract：With the deepening of urbanization and industrialization in the worldwide, resources such as personnel, capital and technology are constantly concentrated in cities, rural decline, characterized by rural population loss, poverty and hollowing out, has become a common problem faced by all countries in the world. Based on the content and logical relevance of the existing research results of rural attraction, the paper reviews literatures from three aspects(comprehensive research of rural attraction, classification of rural attraction, and research of relevant content of rural attraction), and then makes a brief review. On the whole, there are abundant research results that reflect the thoughts and contents related to rural attraction at home and abroad. Research achievements accumulated by relevant scholars provide an important theoretical and methodological basis for the further theoretical development of rural attraction. The directly and systematic research on rural attraction is still in the preliminary exploration stage, and the theoretical construction and empirical exploration of rural attraction have not been fully expanded. Research on the universal law of the formation and evolution of rural attraction, the regularity of the regional distribution of rural attraction, the regulation mode and multiple paths of rural attraction and so on, need to be strengthened. Future research on rural attraction should focus on the following key directions:Research on the basic theory of rural attraction, quantitative research on rural attraction based on multi-source data, research on rural attraction based on multi-scale and multi-regional types, the evolution process and law of rural attraction, the promotion path of rural attraction, the correlation mechanism between rural attraction and rural revitalization, et al.
