THE CITIZENIZATION OF AGRICULTURAL POPULATION IN TRANSFER AND PLACE ATTACHMENT: BASED ON THE BACKGROUND OF RAPID URBANIZATION

Abstract:Place attachment theory, which emphasis on human emotional connection to the place, has profound practical significance by helping make up the lack of perspective of traditional sociology, economics and other related fields, and providing new urbanization a broader human-oriented thinking to achieve"human urbanization". Based on the knowledge of human geography and application of psychology, this study attempts to discuss the application of place attachment theory in China's new urbanization and citizenization of agricultural population in transfer. We come to the conclusion that:① the object of study should be distinguished from geographical scope and regional characteristic between big cities, middle and small size cities and small towns, as well as the various forms of urbanization in rural areas under these geographical scope and regional characteristic. ② with regard to thought angle of view and content, we should focus on:the relationship between urbanization, the disruptions to place attachment and people's will of citizenization; the relationship between obstacle of the household registration system to citizenization, place attachment and in situ urbanization; the relationship between the variety of citizenization and place attachment; the relationship between citizenization, construction of small towns and place attachment; and the relationship between citizenization, community construction and place attachment. ③ with regard to the research methods, both qualitative and quantitative research methods should be used.
