MEASUREMENT ON THE ATTITUDE OF ECO-TOURISTS TOWARDS THE MANAGEMENT MEANS OF SCENIC RESORT BASED ON THE ENVIRONMENTAL COGNITION

Abstract：Based on the difference of tourists types of environmental cognition toward the way of scenic resort management, the managing deficiency was discovered, which helped to perfect the managing programme.Firstly, the tourists' characteristics of different environmental cognition were identified by Two-Way Indicator Species Analysis (TWINSPAN) in Luya Mountains natural reserve, and secondly, the attitude of different types on the management means was also measured by the variance analysis of ANOVA. It showed that:1) TWINSPAN divided all the tourists into the strict protection type, the usual protection type, the occasional protection type and the natural enjoyment type. 2) The different types had the different expression clearly on the current management means, the walkways management, restrictions to the scope for tourism activities, and livestock management, which indicated that the more investigation and amelioration were needed to deal with in these mentioned management ways. 3) The different types had the coincident attitude on the divisional management, the punishing measures, tourism interpretation system and environmental education, in which they were satisfied with the divisional management and the punishing measures, and not with tourism interpretation system and environmental education that needed to improve. 4) In the graph of canonical correspondence analysis, the cognition of four types towards the management means of scenic resort had an evidence difference, and their distribution had certain relevance with key indicators and demographic characteristics.
