Abstract:Anhui Province is famous for its beautiful scenes, one of the most popular of which is Mt.Huang, a place well-known for its splendid natural scenery and lo ts of ancient cultural relics. Another major attraction is Mt.Jiuhua, one of the four famous Buddhist meccas in China. Another wellknown scene, Taiping lake, located between Mt.Huang and Mt.Jiuhua, is regarded as a China's Geneva lake. Breathtaking natural scenery and countless famous Chinese cultural relics make Anhui an ideal tourist destination. Wuhu city, a frontier to the outside world in Anhui province, is situated at the crossroads of Eastern China. Due to the absence of a bridge across the Changjiang River, the development of railw ay transportation has been slow. Changjiang River severely restricts the development of Anhui's economy, especially its tourism. Now, Wuhu Changjiang Bridge makes Wuhu into a hub of Eastern China. It also enriches Anhui and Wuhu's tourist resources and improvers Anhui and Wuhu's tourist traffic conditions. In this paper, based on evaluation and analysis of local tourist resources, the authors study four aspects:①the relationship between the development of traffic conditions and that of tourism in China, ②the analysis of the current conditions of Anhui's tourist transportatin, ③the influences of the construction of Wuhu Changjiang Bridge upon the tourist traffic conditions, ④the response and countermeasures to the improvement of tourist traffic conditions.
