After a brief summarization of the application study of time-geography in Europe,American and Japan,this thesis discusses how time-geographical approach was introduced to China and applied to Chinese cities study.From 1997 to 1999,as a unique time-geography group in China,we finished a project of time geographical study on Chinese cities,that funded by National Scientific Foundation.Many significant conclusion were achieved through time geographical analysis on the daily activities of Chinese citizens.Although it seems that the Euroamerican time-geographical studies have declined since 1980s,but a trend to use time-geographical approach to Human Geography is coming into being in Japan and China.
