本文应用系统论和地理学的方法,对旅游系统的组成、结构、功能、特点进行了详细论证,认为旅游系统指旅游活动系统,由客源地、目的地和旅游媒介三部分组成,满足游客的旅游需求是系统的唯一功能,具有整体性、层次性、复杂性、动态性、开放性和地域性六大特点。旅游规划的对象是旅游目的地系统,本质是通过开发最富地方特色、最具市场吸引力的旅游产品增大目的地系统的旅游吸引力,从而促进旅游系统的高效运转,为旅游业可持续发展提供稳定的客源市场和其它保障条件。

The purpose of this paper is to examine the concept, component, construction, function and characteristic of the tourism system using the syntactic mode of tourism system and discusses the relationship between tourism system and tourism planning. The paper is divided into four parts concerning the five aspects of the tourism system respectively. Using the syntactic model of tourism system, Part one introduces the construction, the function, the contents and the definition of tourism system in the view of system theory. Part two establishes the spatial structure of tourism system. Part three discusses on the nature of tourism system in details. Part four considers the relationship between tourism system and tourism planning. The paper shows that tourism system is a subsystem of the nature economic society system composed with origin, destination and medium. It's crucial to study on the tourism system for tourism planning and tourism industry development because tourism system is the basis of tourism industry and its subsystem the destination system is the object of tourism planning.
