Abstract：From the analysis of present situation, this paper pointed out the necessity of renewing ideas. Based on the studies of implication and characteristics of the cultural-economy, the practical significance for Chongqing's tourism has been discussed. And then some concrete suggestions on the development of tourism in Chongqing have been put forward.
