Abstract:From the perspective of the production of space, space is a type of mage-social resource. It is impacted by historical and natural factors, which is also a process of social relationship reorganization and social order renew. From a macro perspective of social space, the space production needs of vertical and horizontal differentiation find the best fit point in urban viilage: that is the peripheral geographical differences in the manufacturing process of the lateral urban space, while the space is intertwined with the expansion into the manufacturing process of internal differences, including villages and external relations, and villages own internal population stratification. From the level of social relations inside the villages, villagers experienced farmers-industrial workers-the landlord owns the homestead and housing space-has only lost three of housing space personnel changes. The differences in changes in social relations and social identity are direct reflection of their social relationships reproduction. Its essence is to exhibit the outward diffusion of urban space, and constantly creating, producing differences in order to achieve the accumulation means. This paper uses Jiangdong urban village as a case conducted in Nanjing to examine the social space production in three ways: Its historical change, social relationship reproduction and new space production. Social space and economic interests of the community replaced the original villages of geographical, kinship link.
