Abstract:Based on the time and location of the two kinds of tourism digital footprints, we try to reveal the tourism seasonality of Xi'an domestic independent tourist, and investigate the tourism flow network characteristics of Xi'an domestic independent tourist by the network analysis, and the indicators measuring network analysis include size, density, centrality, centralization, cohesive subgroups and core-periphery model. The outcomes show that tourism seasonality is consistent between digital footprints analysis and actual research. For every tourism node, there is tourist centralization and decentralization link with 2.049 other nodes in average. Averagely, every tourism node acts as intermediary number of times being 10.753. But the distribution is somewhat uneven between every tourism node. Muslim Snack Street, Shaanxi History Museum, Terra Cotta Warriors, The Xi'an Circumvallation, North Square of Da Yan Ta pagoda lie in core. These nodes have high level of centrality, which are situated in non-substitutable locations with connections spanning different sub-groups of nodes and with opportunities to broker the flow of tourists among other nodes. In all, density of tourism flow network based on tourism digital footprints is very low (0.0256), there being less touring itinerary, and nodes of the cohesive subgroups have distinct nature of geography, they are mainly located on the urban district. And there being obvious stratified structure. Density between tourism nodes in the inside of the core area has reached 0.519, and they scattered at urban area of Xi'an, eastern area of Xi'an and Mount Huashan.
