Abstract:Nowadays, virtual communities are influencing the method of human communication in real communities. The extensive application of virtual communities has brought profound influence on real communities, which is becoming a hot issue in international researches. One of the virtual communities has been gradually blending with real communities, thus shaping a structure of semi-virtual and semi-real communities structure, such as intelligent residential communities which provide referencing object for geography studies on virtual communities. The research of intelligent residential communities can provide more extensive space for application of virtual communities. The purpose of this research reveals the characteristic of influence of virtual communities' information flow on human flow of real communities. After reviewing foreign and domestic research, the author takes an intelligent residential community of Hangzhou as case study and analyzes the two charactertistics of website about information of real estate in Hangzhou and then unfolds research on process, manner, mechanism, result and effect of information flow on human flow. In the end, the author summarizes meaning of geography on the research which promotes research of semi-virtual and semi-real new geo-spatial form.
