摘要
自1980年代复兴以后的近三十年来,我国人文地理学研究和教学取得了可喜的成绩,但参照国际人文地理学的发展以及我国其他领域改革的深入和推进,存在的问题也日益明显,突出表现在五种意识的不足或缺乏。这使我们在服务国家经济建设方面作出令人注目的成绩的同时,未能对世界人文地理学发展作出我们应有的贡献。亟待反思,找到问题之所在以及通向世界学术殿堂的"桥梁",以便"重新出发"。在恪守学术规范的基础上,增强学术史和与同行对话的意识、以问题和理论为导向,立足本土,加强人文地理研究的理论化,作出原创性的发现,是我国人文地理学者面临的一项艰巨任务。
Abstract
Great progress has been made in the research and education of human geography in mainland China. With the rapid development of human geography in the world and the further advance of reform in other spheres in China, some methodological problems in the research of human geography emerged, including the lack or absence of five kinds of academic consciousness (problem consciousness, academic historical consciousness, dialogue consciousness, theoretical consciousness and consciousness of academic norms). Such a situation hinders the development of human geography in China. The reason why there is lack of problem consciousness of human geography researches in mainland China is that there are many papers which are not problem-oriented. The lack is due to the poor postgraduate education, the wrong academic evaluation system and the tradition of the absence of discuss on problems existing in the society and academia. Many Chinese human geography papers cite limited literatures although great progress has been made in the last three decades. This indicates that many human geographers in China lack of the academic historical consciousness and dialogue consciousness, because they just state their own opinions and findings, and pay little attention to the researches of others, and they cannot make a strong academic base of the consulting service. Besides the above substantial academic issues, there are still some formal issues in the academic writings by Chinese human geographers, compared with the national standard or the Anglo-American counterparts. China needs its own ‘Chicago Manual of Style’. In order to take part in the world competition of academy, economic development and institution, it is necessary for China to strengthen the consciousness of academic history, dialogue, theory problems and academic norms to make the researches being problem-oriented and theory-oriented, and have enough local bases as well as have original findings.
