Abstract

Jiuyishan is an ancient famous mountain where there are not only the tomb and temples of Xun,one of the five chinese ancestors,but also the classic karst land form and wonderful natural landscape.Xuxiake.a noted traveller and geographer of the Min Dynasty,came here to take a scientific geographical exploration.
This paper analyses the hard experience Xuxiake had when he surveyed the mountain.According to his travel records. along with the modern tourism development theory,the author made a scientific approach to Jiuyishan Mountain tourism resources' exploitation and application.
