With the means both of the location observing and questionnaire investigating, as a case study for the Shanhai railway station, the paper mainly discusses the relation of the passers composing with the developing of the recreation function.It deals with not only the passer's backgrounds such as the calling, the earning, the sexuality, the age and the stay times, but also appraising about the direct tasting for the activities as the eating, dwelling, transiting, shopping, amusing, sightseeing in there.Furthermore, it was considered that combining the developing synthesis function of the station with the tourism serving for passers is bound to social economic development, and also is a very important gateway for advancing up the window effect of the railway stations in the future.
