SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENTOF CHINESE ANCIENT CIVILIZATION: AN ANALYSIS

Abstract

Sustainable development of the Chinese ancient civilization was rare in the world.Its reasons are:(1)there was an intact and obturatable Culture;(2)the relation among population, Land exploitation and technical levels had been relatively Coordinated;(3)Land resource had been Conserved owing to adhibiting of advanced agriculture;(4)Chinese civilization Center was moved to where environment was better by changing of environment.
The reasons of sustainable development of the Chinese ancient civilization are versatile, two aspects of them are extremely important.The first is cultural factor, while the second is of the ecological.
In the course of sustainable development, China may benefit some experiences worthwhile listed as follow s:(1)harmonize the relationship among population development, land exploitation and technical levels;(2)conserve land resource, put sustainable develop0ment of Chinese agriculture on the first;(3)defend ecological environment is equal to conserve productive forces.
