Abstract As the major infrastructure to the city as well as to the corresponding region, high speed railway,the development and invention of the modern transportation is the prerequisite of tourism industry. All the industry factors will be restructured and optimized under the influence of high-speed railway, so that they can meet the changing and increasing market demand better. Xi'an is a traditional tourism city as well as a transportation hub of the central and western regions. Based on the analysis of the development of tourism industry and high-speed railway of Xi'an, this article proved that there's a high correlation between high-speed railway and tourism industry by applying GRA (Grey Relational Analysis) method, especially the incensement of the length of railways in operation as well as the railway passenger transport capacity. There's indeed a sharp increase on the usage rate and the correlation between the high-speed railway and domestic travel.Then, according to the experiences in development of other high-speed node cites both in and abroad as well as their integration process of the railway and the city itself. Firstly, it elaborated on the influence of highspeed railway on tourism spatial structure, including setting up the high-speed railway travel circle by taking advantage of the location of node city as well as enhancing the image of city entrance to improve the quality of travelling experience, etc. Secondly, this article brings up the way to innovate the developmental model of tourism business and to perfect the tourism public services of Xi'an, specifically including building up the tourism business complex relied on the high speed railway, linking to the tourist distributing center and the urban public traffic as well as connecting to the urban tourism information service of Xi'an.
