    This paper focuses on the relationship between spatial mobility and social mobility, which is related to the topics of migration. By systematically reviewing the related literature in human geography and other disciplines from abroad, the paper finds that: 1) A significant body of literature provides evidence of the important link between spatial mobility and social mobility. Spatial mobility is not only understood as the relative movement and displacement of physical spaces in traditional geography but also as a structured dimension of social life. 2) Through analyzing the frequency of keywords and reading important literature, this paper identifies three main issues in the existing research on the relationship between spatial mobility and social mobility. These issues are: Spatial mobility and social mobility led by education, occupation, and residential patterns. It also explores how individuals can achieve upward social mobility through career development under the free economic system in industrial societies. The social mobility under the influence of residential mobility discusses the relationship between resource differences and class stratification, and structured perspectives such as residential communities and their neighborhood effects. The social distribution of power is deeply reflected in geographic patterns and spatial processes of residential mobility. The paper concludes that the relationship between spatial mobility and social mobility exhibits diverse characteristics.

    Taking the migration trajectory of the subject as the cue, the existing empirical studies on migration infrastructure mainly focus on four aspects: The migration infrastructure in the process of departure and entry, the migration infrastructure in the process of stay and settlement, the migration infrastructure in the context of forced migration, and the migration infrastructure breaking the spatial scale. The findings are as follows: 1) The technological and regulatory migration infrastructures play the function of serving as the material foundation and guaranteeing the basic rights of the migrants respectively which shape the mobility behavior of the subject. 2) The "from-the-above" migration infrastructures, including the commercial, technological and regulatory part, can alleviate the precarity of the migrants' economy or settlement. 3) From the perspective of a broader scope of services space, with "online migration infrastructure" and "human migration infrastructure" to represent the core part of both breaking the defining borders of flowing space, and breaking through the space between real and virtual, which constitute the potential social capital of migrants. 4) In the condition of forced migration, "deportation infrastructure" reflects the national position and the willingness of the government in the context of transferring targeted objects.

    The article focuses on short-stay tourists as a special type of mobility, takingFenghuang Ancient Townas an example, based on the mobility perspective, conducts field research, and analyzes short-stay tourist's geographical imagination and representation, tourism practice, and construction of local meaning in the place of inflow through the theory of rootedness. The study found that: 1) the "third space" tourism experience of short-stay tourists is realized through their own imagination and representation, and the practice of geographical imagination in the tourism experience. 2) Short-stay travelers practice the imaginary ancient city of Fenghuang Ancient Town through their personal experiences, and realize their travel practices through exotic experiences and dream pursuits. 3) The meaning of a place constructed by short-stay tourists contains two key dimensions: the process by which short-stay tourists interpret Fenghuang Ancient Town as a "border city" to realize a brief escape from the reality of life, and the process of self-interpretation under reflexive thinking.

    Under the background of mobility, the phenomenon of large-scale and long-distance population migration is becoming more and more frequent, resulting in the continuous remodeling of the food consumption practice of mobile populations, which has led to the problems of diet ethics and identity, and has become an important topic in the study of new cultural geography. This paper constructs a three-dimensional analytical framework with "living with things" "following the things" and "feeling the things" as the internal clue, subjectivity, sociality and locality as the three poles, and diet ethics and identity as the core. On the basis of literature review, this paper systematically and comprehensively discusses the important role of the physical diet experience, social interaction and local context in the diversified dynamic development process of diet ethics and identity of mobile populations, and emphasizing the initiative of food in the dietary practice of the mobile group, and elaborating the internal logic of the complementary and internal relationship between the diet ethics and identity of mobile populations. Finally, the paper looks forward to the key topics and directions that can be further explored in the study of mobile populations' diet in new cultural geography.

    With the increasing prevalence of information, communication and transport technology, mobility patterns of urban residents in modern society have become even more complex and diverse than before. Motility consists of a combination of geographical, social and cultural elements that influence individual mobility. The connotation reveals the dynamics and constraints of mobility within a social structure, while also emphasises the agency and ability of individuals to shape mobility. The concept of motility highlights the intrinsic value of mobility, which may contribute to personal growth and a meaningful life. Based on survey data collected from 10 communities in the main city area of Nanjing in 2019, we use multiple regression models to investigate the effects of different components of motility on wellbeing, including access, competence, and appropriation. And mediating effect analysis is used to investigate the relationship among social capital, motility and wellbeing. The findings suggest that motility contributes to residents' wellbeing significantly. More specifically, 1) Motility has a positive effect on both hedonic and eudaimonic wellbeing, with a greater effect on the latter; 2) Access contributes more to wellbeing than the competence and appropriation dimensions. 3) Social capital has a significant mediating effect in the relationship between the variables of access and appropriation and wellbeing.

    Metros are not only important traffic facilities, but also organize urban life in complex ways and create unique and important urban experiences. Using theory of mobilities, this essay views passengers' metro ride as important spatial practice, and analyzes daily social interactions initiated by Shanghai metro mobilities, and explores how the unique human-land relationship is made possible by the mediation of metro technology. It is found that: 1)The operation of the Shanghai metro particularly relies on specific rules as guarantees, but the implementation of these rules shows great flexibility. Operators propagate and maintain rules through symbolization and materialization, making rules serve spatial safety and efficiency; Passengers not only passively abide by the rules, but also actively misappropriate or even transform the rules, transforming operators into supervised objects. 2)The Shanghai metro provides special and important public spaces for people to participate in urban life in a tangible way. The relative closeness of the metro directs people's attention towards the interior of the space. 3)The communication media that follow passengers into the metro initiate mediated riding experience, expand the social relations of metro space through "perpetual contact", reconstruct metro spatiality by creating multiple situations, which promote the generation of "hybrid space" based on "compound mobilities". "Contract space," "performative space" and "hybrid space" constitute three facets of the spatiality generated by the interaction and mutual construction between metro technology and the human bodies. The metro provides possibilities for complex social interactions and public life, and is transformed into "mobile city" with unique rhythm and significance due to people's daily communicative and spatial practices.
