Abstract：The Ecological Carrying Capacity of Tourism is critical but not very practicable for ecotourism and sustainable tourist industry development, so the concept "Managerial Ecological Carrying Capacity of Tourism" underpinned by Security Pattern (SP)theory and tourist management as strong conceptual and theoretical basis is put forward in the article for the first time.The definition of managerial ecological carrying capacity of tourism and its characteristics, determinant factors, investigative objects and researching process are discussed in detail in the article.
