Abstract：Understanding resident' demand for Service facilities is the foundation of building community life circle and complete community. Existing studies mainly focus on the spatial allocation or evaluation of service facilities supply, little is known about the demand of specified people for service facilities, especially for the child-rearing population and other subgroups. This paper discusses what kind of service facilities the community should provide for the child-rearing population. Based on the 2017 Fairness and Inclusion Questionnaire Survey in middle and low-income communities of Beijing, this paper uses the ordered logit model to analyze their demand and preference for 10 types of facilities. The results show that the demand and visit frequency for various facilities of child-rearing population are higher than other people, and there are notable gender differences in them. Two-child families are more dependent on service facilities than one-child families, and the demands also vary across families with children in different ages. Finally, this paper puts forward a classification system of the service facilities needed by the child-rearing population, which is aiming at providing evidence for the fine planning of community service facilities.
