Abstract:There are numerous of revolutionary monuments in our country, which is the historical records of the revolution and developments of our country in each period; and is also the important carrier of the topic culture travels of recalling the past revolutionary martyrs and looking back to the history. The destination for the red tourism has not only the function of revolutionary tradition education, but also the high values of the military geography and the geo-culture. In addition being located in the mountain area with good ecosystem environment, and reserving the special, simple and folk people's customs of old area, the merchandise of tourism extended by the red tourism has more extensive market potentiality, such as the current news tourism, the cultivation tourism, the touring and the experiencing and the making holiday to the revolution holy land, etc. at the day with universal and individual markets of tourism. Along with the 《the development programming outline of national red tourism in 2004-2010 years》coming on, this will effectively promote the red tourism flourishing in whole country. But, for the nonce the development of our country's red tourism still have not be maturing, and the speed of development has getting behind with other destinations of tourism far and far. This text researches and analyses the resources of the red tourism, the market of visitors, the mode and the countermeasures for the development of the red tourism.
