Abstract：As a necessary part of functional system of a tourist destination, tourist interpretation system plays a very important role, especially for those who come from other countries where native languages are different from that spoken in the destination.Among all the languages, English interpretation system takes the most important one.This paper takes Beijing, capital of the People's Republic of China, as a case study, discusses some basic concepts of tourist interpretation system firstly, then describes classification, characteristics, and questions of Beijing's tourist interpretation system.Finally, puts fouward several comments about planning and management of the system in the city in the future.
