Abstract:This paper reviews the reviews the recent development of the geography of criminal offence in China and in other countries. As a case study, it analyzes the relationship between the geographical distribution of criminal offence in cities and the district differences, and discusses the relationship between the criminal ratio and economic factors of society by using the grey relational analysis. It aims to explain some rules governing the geographical distribution of criminal offence and possible reasons causing the district differences.
