Abstract:"Lvyoujingguan" (all the natural, cultural and social resources, scenery views and landscape in Chinese) is a traditional interpretation of tourism landscape. This article compares and distinguishes the two kinds of translation:namely "jingguan" (scenery, landscape and sights in Chinese) and "dijing" (landscape) of the same word "landscape" through the understanding from Chinese semantics. "Jingguan" and "Dijing" are the same in their whole attributes, forming conditions and categories; however, they are quite different in the contents and spatial realm. Then, the interrelationship between tourism landscape and place from the converging perspective of tangible space and intangible culture is discussed. From the spatial perspective, tourism landscape relies on place but also tries to be isolated from place for maintaining the uniqueness and being different from other building or spectacles; from the cultural perspective, the locality or placeness permeate in tourism landscape due to historical and cultural reasons but can not take it under full control because of the culture globalization and fast spreading, hence sometimes tourism landscapes are unrecognizable to a certain place. Finally, an ideal mode is proposed as the conclusion, the mode is called "All Round Integration between Tourism Landscape and Place".
