Abstract:For a long time, due to the non-equilibrium of regional development, spatial distribution and coordination of economic resources become the difficult problem of regional study. Even though China in the 90's begun to adjust to regional development, but due to various reasons, the strategic role of this balance has not shown. The emergence of region non-equilibrium is the result of a variety of factors. It is a very difficult thing to make out a comprehensive explanation. As the new economic geography integrated urban and regional economics, industrial organization theory, game theory, endogenous growth theory, computer simulation and other fields of theory and methods. Besides, a large number of abroad theorems have established a variety of theory model from different aspects, which makes the interpretation of non-equilibrium phenomena have a certain amount of micro-foundation. At the same time, as the technology continues to improve, a combination of both applicability and explanatory are growing. On the other hand, a large number of researches based on the study of China provides a new theoretical basis and theoretical perspective for industrial policy and regional policy-making, and also provide a new angle with theoretical and practical combination to broaden the field of economics study. At present, the new economic geography research on non-equilibrium studies mainly focused on various forms of concentration. A large number of studies have focused on discussing the spatial distribution of industrial clustering and its causes, few studies concern the regional development and economic growth convergence. According to economic theory and the latest developments of space data analysis techniques, this article sorts out and summarizes the classification in the field of representation theory and empirical results of domestic and foreign scholars, based on spatial concentration, regional differences and an increase of convergence which appears in non-equilibrium regional economy. These studies analyzed the reasons, measured the degree of non-equilibrium, and improved industrial policy and regional policy.
